ILLUSTRATIVE FLOW · Source-backed knowledge
The challenge
A knowledge base can hold the information you need and still be hard to search. Each answer needs to stay linked to the document that supports it.
The solution
A RAG project with content ingestion, chunking, embeddings and vector search. Text or audio interaction delivers cited answers that make the documentation easier to consult.
The project works on top of the documentation itself: ingestion prepares the text, which is split into chunks and represented as embeddings. Vector search finds passages related to the question, providing context for composing the answer. This approach is known as RAG, or retrieval-augmented generation.
References keep the link between the answer and the documentation consulted. Audio input and output add another way to interact with the same knowledge. In a rollout, selecting the documents and evaluating the questions are central: how useful the search is depends on the available content and on the ability to retrieve the relevant passages.

FROM PROJECT TO OPERATIONS
Use cases
Illustrative scenarios to picture how this work can be applied in a company’s day-to-day operations.
USE CASE 01
Looking up an internal procedure
The scenario
Someone needs to find the instructions for a routine task and doesn’t know which knowledge base page they’re on.
How to apply it
Ask about the topic in natural language and retrieve passages from the selected document set, with references for reading the original material.
What the team gets
An assisted answer with sources, so the procedure and its context can be checked.
USE CASE 02
The same knowledge base, by voice
The scenario
A team wants to offer an alternative for people who prefer to ask questions aloud and hear the answers when consulting the knowledge base.
How to apply it
Add audio input and read-aloud answers to the search flow, keeping the content and references consulted in the text history.
What the team gets
A voice and text search experience over a defined knowledge base, with evaluation of the chosen questions.
